This is often caused by water from an overflowing saucepan going onto the gas taps.
What to try.
If this has happened it can take a day or so to dry out. Turn it off at the wall. Leave it off and periodically turn it back on and when the water has dried out it will stop clicking. Until then you can turn it back on to light the burner then turn it back off and the burner will carry on working as usual. As it does not need electricity after the ignition is complete.
If after a couple of days it is still happening please call us or email and we will make a booking.
