This is quite a common issue that we see & in many situations it can be easily rectified. We often go to machines with this fault & find there’s a loan bath mat or a single dressing gown or a towel & 3 items of gym kit etc The machine will abort the spin after trying for quite a while. You may see the drum slowly turning one way and then back the other repeatedly. Washing Machine’s like an evenly balanced load. 1/2-3/4 of the way up the door glass with items of a similar size is what it likes. This way it can evenly spread the load around the drum allowing it to go up into full spin without centrifugal force causing the machine to try & turn itself upside down.

What to try:
