Most modern day ovens have a digital clock. The clock is required so you can set the oven to come on at a certain time & go off at a certain time. In basic terms the main oven is wired through the clock so if the time is not set the oven will not turn on, no lights, no fan, no heat.
What to do: have a look at the clock, is it flashing. If so set the time & give it a try. If it’s not flashing have a careful look at the digital display to see if there is a small “A” illuminated. This is the key symbol for Auto meaning the automatic function has been activated so the oven will only come on during the time period that it has been asked to. Often activated by complete accident. The easiest way to reset this is by turning it off at the wall, leave it for a few minutes, turn it back on & set the time. If when you turn it back on everything works but there is no heat it could well be your oven that caused the power outage in your house. If this is the case please either fill in the enquiry form, give us a call or send us an email & we’ll get you booked in
